Job summary

Confidential Facility in New York is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time role in long-term care with premium pay, a sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires 3+ years nursing experience, NYS RN license, CPR, Accu-Chek and IV Therapy certification; you will lead clinical operations, coordinate rounds, mentor staff, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; at least 1 year in long-term care or sub-acute care.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Active NYS RN License; CPR; Accu-Chek and IV Therapy Certification; annual CEU compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate clinical operations on assigned unit or shift.
• Support and guide staff with clinical decisions and delegation.
• Ensure thorough assessment and care planning for residents.
• Conduct frequent rounds to ensure care standards and resident needs are met.
• Monitor and follow up on nursing documentation and performance.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on quality and compliance issues.
• Promote interdepartmental cooperation to maintain seamless resident care.
• Conduct regular team meetings to identify and resolve issues.
• Enforce policies fairly and equitably, without bias or discrimination.
