Job summary

Rural Psychiatry Associates is seeking a Manager of Patient Care Services to lead nursing operations and patient access services. This role supervises direct care staff, ensures compliance with policies, and partners with leadership to optimize workflows and patient care.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, at least 5 years of clinical experience (psychiatric experience preferred) and 3+ years of supervisory experience. Strong communication and EHR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the United States or eligible by hire date
• 5+ years of clinical experience; psychiatric experience desirable
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Proficient in EHR, medical systems and general office software

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the nursing team to ensure efficient, patient-centered care
• Support and guide direct patient care staff, focusing on performance development and training
• Monitor compliance with internal policies, clinical protocols and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate and improve workflows and patient care processes
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and address patient care needs
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee staffing and daily operations to maintain service quality and access
• Ensure accurate documentation and readiness for audits and inspections
