Job Summary

Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Essential Functions

• Practice nursing by diagnosing and treating human responses to health alterations, utilizing the nursing process including administering treatments, interpreting diagnostics, planning care, collaborating, and educating patients.
• Collect patient health data, determine priorities, use assessment techniques, involve patients and others, document systematically, and analyze data for diagnoses.
• Derive and validate diagnoses, document problems, and set individualized outcomes.
• Develop, individualize, and implement a plan of care with patient involvement, ensuring it reflects current nursing standards and provides continuity.
• Implement interventions safely, document them, and evaluate patient progress and responses, revising plans as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, monitor care quality, analyze data, and recommend improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Licenses/Certifications
