Job summary

Glens Falls Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an RN Program Instructor to join our nursing education team in Glens Falls, NY. The instructor will deliver the curriculum, teach lectures and labs, and coordinate clinical training with supervision of participants.

The ideal candidate is an RN with 2+ years of nursing experience (1+ year in long-term care), plus experience teaching adults or supervising nurse aides.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with at least two years of nursing experience, including a minimum of one year in a long-term care setting.
• Experience teaching adults, supervising nurse aides, or having completed a course in adult education.
• Strong communication, leadership, and training skills preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical education environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum in collaboration with the Program Coordinator.
• Teach lecture and lab content and coordinate clinical training and supervision of course participants.
• Supervise students on units during clinical experiences.
