Job summary
The State of South Carolina's Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Registered Nurse, Non-Institutional to support the Assertive Community Treatment team at Berkeley Community Mental Health Center in Moncks Corner. You will assess health and social needs, administer medications, and help patients pursue long-term wellness.
The role emphasizes thorough documentation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and community-based care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and RN licensure by the SC Board of Nursing.
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
- Must hold a nursing license through SC Board of Nursing and be able to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to travel between clinics, homes and community settings as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assess the health, social, psychiatric and medical needs of ACT patients.
- Administer scheduled intramuscular medications and monitor effects.
- Engage in health promotion, prevention and education activities.
- Complete clinical documentation according to SCDMH/QA requirements.
- Participate in clinical supervision and daily treatment team meetings.
