Job summary

Clatsop Care Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the day-to-day patient care of residents and clients in Astoria, Oregon. The role includes collaboration with unit managers and staff to ensure high-quality care and safety across shifts.

Eligible candidates will have an active RN license, 1+ year experience with seniors, and the ability to participate in geriatric/dementia workshops.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 1+ years of experience with the senior population.
• Ability to attend workshops and institutes in geriatrics/dementia care.
• Ability to perform the physical and mental demands of this position.
• Exceptional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and best nursing practices for patients.
• Assist unit managers and charge nurses; visit units and evaluate performance.
• Assess residents, make daily rounds, delegate assignments, and train staff.
• Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff hiring decisions where applicable.
