Acute Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano in Plano, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts to join a dedicated rehab team. You will provide, plan, and coordinate nursing care for patients based on physician orders and hospital policies—to support healing and rehabilitation goals.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within a multi-disciplinary team. RN license, rehab experience, and strong clinical skills are required for success.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license required.
• Experience in rehabilitation, acute care, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred.
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills required.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders, care plans, and hospital policies.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor patient responses.
• Receive and implement physician orders accurately and timely.
• Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and inform physicians and team of changes.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure quality care and workflow.
• Participate in staffing and time management for nursing team.
• Ensure infection prevention and control standards are followed.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and concerns appropriately.
• Maintain nursing service objectives and licensure compliance.
• Assist in identifying equipment and supply needs for patient care.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and staff education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
