Job summary

Horizon Rehabilitation Hospital in McKinney, TX is seeking a Night shift Registered Nurse (RN) to develop, implement, evaluate, and update individualized care plans for patients and families. The RN will provide direct patient care, delegate and supervise nursing staff, and ensure quality outcomes in a rehabilitation setting.

Qualified candidates must hold a current RN license in the state of employment, maintain BLS certification, and obtain ACLS within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of employment.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and supervise nursing staff per hospital policies.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and update individualized care plans for patients and families.
• Demonstrate clinical competency and sound nursing judgment.
• Coordinate patient care and promote quality and patient safety.
• Attend facility meetings and participate in safety and performance improvement initiatives.
