Job summary

Aviva at Fitzsimons in Colorado is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct care, follow care plans, and support residents in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Colorado RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1-3 years nursing experience preferred.
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced SNF environment.
• Knowledge of clinical equipment (monitors, infusion devices, drainage systems).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per care plans and orders.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions including vitals.
• Identify changes and initiate interventions including emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges with documentation.
• Maintain complete and compliant medical records.
• Uphold company values, ethics, and quality of care.

Schedule

Days: Thursday, Friday & Saturday (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Nights: Sunday Through Saturday Available (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans, physician orders, and regulatory requirements
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions, including vital signs, lab values, and mental status
• Identify changes in condition and initiate appropriate interventions, including emergency response when necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and evaluate resident care plans
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
• Maintain complete and compliant medical records
• Uphold company values, ethical standards, and quality of care expectations

RN Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Colorado (required)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required)
• 1-3 years of nursing experience preferred
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
• Knowledge of clinical equipment (monitors, infusion devices, drainage systems)
