Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking an experienced Transfer Coordinator RN for the Temple, TX facility. The role supports patient movement, coordinating with physicians, nurses and departments to streamline transfers and enhance patient access to BSWH facilities.

As an RN with critical care background, you will provide exceptional customer service, follow transfer protocols, and help improve outcomes while maintaining documentation standards and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant field is required.
• A minimum of three years of work experience.
• Possessing a valid and current RN license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient transfers by working with physicians, nurses, and other departments to ensure smooth flow.
• Provide excellent customer service within and outside the organization to support satisfaction.
• Follow protocols to gather information on time from other institutions and physicians.
• Enhance services across the BSWH system using available information and resources.
• Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and compliant with standards using proper forms.
• Manage relationships with referring physicians and support BSWH market share growth; assist Transfer Center Coordinator.
