Job summary

You will act as the primary clinical resource, coordinate nursing activities, assist with assessments and treatments, ensure documentation accuracy, and coach staff to uphold correctional healthcare standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overnight nursing team and maintain patient care on track.
• Serve as the primary clinical resource when questions arise and quick thinking matters.
• Coordinate nursing operations to promote efficient, high-quality care.
• Assist with assessments, treatments, medication administration, and emergency response.
• Promote compliance with nursing practices, policies, and correctional healthcare guidelines.
• Coach, mentor, and encourage nurses to bring their best to every shift.
• Collaborate with medical providers and facility staff to support continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support quality assurance.
