Job summary

Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced RN Night Supervisor to oversee the facility's nursing activities during night shifts. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards while delivering high-quality care to residents.

The ideal candidate holds a Nursing Degree, has prior supervisor experience in hospital or long-term care settings, and maintains CPR certification. Strong teamwork and independent decision-making are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have, as a minimum, one year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.
• Must maintain current CPR certification.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty to ensure quality care.
• Ensure adherence to current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain high standards of care and resident safety.

RN Night Supervisor

The Registered Nurse Night Supervisor would be responsible for supervising the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

RN Night Supervisor Qualifications:

• Must possess a current and active license in good standing to practice as an RN in the applicable state
• Must maintain current CPR certification.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care or healthcare related facility
• Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws regulations and guidelines governing long-term care facilities
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

RN Night Supervisor Education and Experience:
