Job summary

KVH Hospital is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care, coordinates with the medical team and supervises staff to ensure quality outcomes.

This role emphasizes patient education and collaboration with families to support discharge and recovery. Ideal candidates hold a WA RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS within six months of hire; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Washington state.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate delivery of care.
• Supervise care provided by professional and ancillary personnel.
• Coordinate with the medical plan and interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patient and family to support discharge and recovery.
• May float to other departments as patient needs dictate.

Education

Licensed RN in Washington State

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
