Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan in Bismarck, ND provides individualized care using the nursing process and collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks while ensuring safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing.
Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, or multistate licensure within a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
Capability to obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process across care plans.
Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff while maintaining safety.
