Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Staff Nurse for a mixed unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital. You will deliver safe, compassionate care across General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice, coordinating with nurses, physicians, and the care team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
This full-time, 36-hour weekly position runs 7pm–7am with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays. The role requires Illinois RN licensure, CPR, and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification within four years, with
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years if ADNs are held
- RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to Sept 1, 2021
- Current State of Illinois RN licensure
- Current CPR Certification by AHA or Red Cross
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date

- Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
