Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. The role features night shifts with call and cross-training into postpartum. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, with three 12-hour shifts weekly for full-time night positions and weekend rotation.

Experience in L&D is preferred; BSN/ MSN is a plus, and neonatal care standards are high. The hospital offers a Magnet-status environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing; RN license required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• 2 years of acute care nursing in women's health preferred.
• Labor and Delivery specific experience preferred.
• Labor and Delivery unit leadership/charge experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide RN care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Cross-train into postpartum care as needed.
• Monitor and support mothers and newborns with focus on safety and patient comfort.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and support staff.
