Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Labor & Delivery Float Pool. This full-time night shift position supports Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, High Risk Perinatal and Antenatal Testing Center across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Virginia or eligible for licensure.
• 1 year RN experience; critical care experience if applicable.
• BSN or ADN required; plan to complete BSN within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient health assessments across Labor & Delivery and related units.
• Formulate and update care plans based on assessments and trends.
• Advocate for patients and families; coordinate care transitions.
• Document all patient care activities per standards and support quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor other staff.
• Maintain continuing education records with a minimum of six contact hours annually.
