Job summary
AdventHealth Apopka is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Night shift team. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care. Required: Associate's in Nursing, valid RN license, BLS.
Bachelor's in Nursing preferred. 1+ year acute care experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Associate's in Nursing is required.
- RN license required (Florida) and BLS certification required.
- Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred for this role.
- 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate progress.
- Administer medications and treatments safely, following physician orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Collaborate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
