Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. You will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care in a faith-based hospital that extends the healing ministry of Christ.

The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing professional development. AAS in Nursing with RN license and BLS are required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

RN license required
BLS certification required
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Basic computer skills and EMR proficiency

Responsibilities

Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications and self-care.
Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and care activities in the medical record.
Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve patient outcomes.
Ensure infection control, safety standards and regulatory requirements are met.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
Supervise and delegate nursing care to team members.
Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
