Job summary

Lexington Health's Labor & Delivery unit seeks a dedicated RN for a full-time PM/N shift (7pm–7:30am). You will use the nursing process to promote and restore health, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and provide physical, emotional and family support to patients and their loved ones.

Minimum qualifications include ADN, Diploma or BSN and an active SC RN license. New grads may be considered through LMC's Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• ADN, Diploma, or BSN required and SC RN license.
• New graduates must qualify via LMC Nurse Residency program.
• L&D experience preferred; EMTALA screening limited to those with 2+ years and verified training.

Responsibilities

• Establishes rapport and provides compassionate patient and family support.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and documents care accurately.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team to plan care.
• Promotes patient education and independence in care.
