Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's Emergency Department in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Adult ED. This full-time role involves night shifts (1900-0700), 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, and a pay range of $38.20-$57.30 per hour.

Be part of a Level I trauma center with multidisciplinary teams and a focus on high-quality patient care, research, and resident education. BLS/ACLS requirements apply, with ACLS due within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
