Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current CT licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification required or obtained within orientation period.
• NCLEX must be passed within 90 days of graduation.
• Must effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English; possesses basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinates patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicates patient condition and responds quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
• Promotes nursing practice through collegial support and professional interactions; reports to Clinical Nurse Manager.
