Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie, a Magnet-designated hospital, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit on the night shift. You will provide patient-centered care on a 25-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio, working 12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Ideal candidates bring cardiac/telemetry experience and NIH Stroke Scale familiarity. Requirements include RN license, BLS (or within 30 days), and graduation from an accredited nursing program; join a

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• RN license is required.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families and document learning needs.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure safe, effective delivery.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and privacy laws.
