Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Night shift on the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The 12-hour shifts offer a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong interdisciplinary support and opportunities for growth.

Ideal candidates will have Cardiac/Telemetry experience, NIH Stroke Scale familiarity, and an active RN license with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN license and BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of starting.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in Medical‑Surgical Telemetry or similar unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families and document learning needs.
• Delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
