Job summary

Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby and Special Care Nursery. The role requires 2 years’ experience in Mother-Baby or SCN/NICU and responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

BSN preferred; MA RN license, BLS and NRP required. Pay ranges from $37.00 to $84.71 per hour, with a union contract governing wages. 36 hours per week on the night shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and essential care on both Mother and Newborn.
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals on care plans.
• Educate patients and families for discharge planning and post-hospital resources.
