This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves effective delegation, direction, and assistance to licensed and ancillary team members, accountability for quality patient outcomes, sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, and involvement in activities aligned with unit and departmental goals. Demonstrates professional responsibility and supports the company's nursing philosophy.
Required - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Required - None.
Required - Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred - Certification in a clinical specialty area.
