Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Registered Nurse for a Level III NICU position with a start date in October 2026. The unit provides 24/7 neonatology and anesthesia coverage, delivering advanced care for the smallest and sickest babies with family bonding at its core.
Requirements include an accredited RN program graduate and Louisiana RN licensure; experience or certification in the area is preferred but not required.
As a Level III Regional Referral Center, Woman's is part of a select group of hospitals in the nation who can provide quality care for the smallest and sickest babies. Our unit is designed to focus on intensive care, while encouraging family bonding. Our designation as a Level III Regional Referral Center means we have a neonatologist and anesthesiologist available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our caring team of neonatologists and specially trained nurses monitor the baby's condition at all times by direct observation, and by using the latest specialized equipment and technology available. We also participate in the Vermont Oxford Quality Improvement Collaborative with 500 other NICUs across the country to keep abreast of the latest research and emerging practices that offer the best care for premature and critically ill babies.
Full-time; non-exempt
Nights; Three 12-hour shifts (6:30 pm - 7 am) including weekend requirements
$30.49 to $48.78 plus applicable shift differentials
