Job summary

National Park Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team in Hot Springs, AR. This PRN position emphasizes patient assessment, timely treatments, and safe, comfortable care across all ages.

You will collaborate with experienced RNs to develop care plans, document accurately, and uphold high-quality standards while supporting a culture of learning and professional growth within Lifepoint Health.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify nursing interventions
• Administer treatments and monitor patient responses
• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age
• Document medical necessity and care plans accurately
• Develop and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans
• Conduct timely QA assessments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Join our team where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

How You'll Contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
