Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA, is seeking a Nurse Resident to provide high-quality patient care in a 26-bed telemetry PCU focused on Stroke and Neurology. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to create and adjust care plans, document in the EMR, and participate in the Nurse Residency Program to develop clinical judgment and leadership skills.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program, Virginia RN license, BLS-HCP, and strong keyboarding/computer skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia with less than 1 year of experience required.
• AHA BLS-HCP required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on unit.
• Must attend Nurse Residency Program sessions and have keyboarding/computer literacy.

# **How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:**Sign on Bonus 26 bed telemetry PCU specializes in the care and management of Hospitalist medicine patients, with primarily Stroke and Neurology diagnosis. For Behavioral Health roles, de-escalation training must be completed within 1 year of hire and maintained.**Life Support:** AHA BLS-HCP required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.**Other Minimum Qualifications:** Must attend required Nurse Residency Program sessions.
