Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an RN to join the Neuro PCU at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. You will provide holistic nursing care for neuro medical and neuro surgical patients on a PCU unit, including stroke care, with nights 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Requirements include an RN license, BLS, 2 years RN experience, and an Associates degree (Bachelors preferred). ACLS if required by department; nurse specialty certs preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 2 years of RN experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license required.
• ACLS certification, if required by department.
• Nurse specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
