Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa. The unit focuses on congestive heart failure patients within a cardiac PCU setting.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and strong clinical skills, with ACLS/NIHSS/PCCN preferred. Shift is nights; on-site work with opportunities for professional growth within a large network.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
• ACLS, NIHSS, and PCCN Certification is preferred
• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
