Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an experienced RN for Neuro OR coverage in Illinois. The 13-week assignment oversees neuro cases including spinal fusions and craniotomies in a 4-suite OR with a lead supervisor on site.

Shifts are 10 hours (0700-1730) with call 1730-0700 (1–2 night shifts/week). Requires active Illinois RN license or initiation in process and BLS certification, plus minimum 1 year Neuro OR experience.

Description:The operating room consists of 4 suites.Approximately 200 neurosurgeries are performed each month.Common cases include spine surgery and craniotomies.A charge nurse is available Monday through Friday, who does not take a team or OR assignment.A lead supervisor and charge nurse are present 24/7.OR technicians are available.The electronic medical record system used is EPIC Optime.Shifts are 10 hours long, from 0700 to 1730.Call shifts occur from 1730 to 0700, with expectations of 1-2 night shifts per week.Weekend rotation is approximately once per month.Holiday call requirements are included.Floating is possible but not likely due to staffing.Scrub color is blue, and shoes must be personal.A unit-specific orientation typically spans 1 week.One RN circulator is assigned per room, and one RN or scrub tech assists with scrubbing.
