Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hiring an RN for a 48-bed step-down unit at Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, NM. The role includes caring for patients with stroke, CHF, GI, renal and neurologic conditions, in a fast-paced setting with an emphasis on teamwork.

New graduates and experienced RNs are welcome, with a Nurse Residency program, education reimbursement, and loan forgiveness options. 12-hour night shifts are offered with shift differentials and robust safety measures.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NM license preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Compact or NM state license facilitates practice in NM.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 48-bed step-down unit.
• Manage stroke, CHF, GI, renal, neurologic cases and post-bariatric patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

We are hiring an RN for our 48 bed, step down unit. Our unit treats a wide variety of patients including those withStroke, CHF, GI, Renal, Neurologic conditions, patients inrespiratorydistress, Neuro, and post bariatric surgery patients. We work withinterdisciplinaryteams such as social workers, PT/OT, Case Managers, and outpatient services. The biggest focus on our unit is a warm welcoming culture that understands the importance of work life balance. We are a family oriented unit that believes in supporting one another, with lots of opportunity for growth as you build your critical thinking skills in our fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Associate Degree: Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred


• Registered Nurse-NM License


• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License Academic Preparation:


• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
