Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA, is seeking a Staff Nurse for full-night shifts (7pm–7am) in the Nephrology/Urology Unit. You will provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold standards of practice in a high‑quality, patient‑centered environment.

Qualifications include GA RN licensure and BCLS certification; a bachelor's degree is preferred, with opportunities for advanced certification.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the State of Georgia is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• BCLS certification is required.
• Advanced certification in the specialty area, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Work with the interdisciplinary team to maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care.
• Participate in unit governance to support patient-centered care and staffing decisions.
