Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Nephrology/Urology Unit. The role provides patient-centered care across the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

The unit offers multiple skill levels with experienced charge nurses and a clinical manager, and trains nurses in Peritoneal Dialysis, the only such service in Athens.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Georgia.
• BCLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in specialty may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities with the interdisciplinary team.
