Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA is seeking a staff nurse for the Nephrology/Urology Unit providing care during the 7pm–7am shift. This role includes training in peritoneal dialysis and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications include RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS certification, and a willingness to acquire specialty certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia
• BCLS certification required
• Advanced certification in specialty is a plus
• New graduates eligible for PRN/entry positions
• 1 year hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities across assigned staff with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain standards of practice and participate in unit-based decision making with charge nurses and clinical manager
