Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care by utilizing the nursing process. Collaborates with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Job Description:

Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise, caring for residents across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsible for care coordination, assessment, resident education, and nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within scope and competency.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice; multistate licensure if in NLC state.
• Maintains department-specific competencies and certifications.
