Northern Pennsylvania Regional College (NPRC) is hiring an NATCEP Instructor (RN) to lead Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program activities in Crawford County. The role requires planning, teaching, and managing learning across classroom, lab, and clinical settings to meet PDE standards.

The NATCEP Instructor will coordinate with NPRC staff to update materials and ensure regulatory compliance, while supporting student success and workforce readiness in a diverse adult learning

Qualifications

• Active PA RN license with at least 2 years of experience
• At least 1 year as an RN in long-term care (direct care, supervision, or education)
• CHRI without prohibitive offenses or pending charges at time of employment
• Teaching-The-Educator (TTE) Workshop completed before teaching Nurse Aides
• Approved by PA Department of Education before teaching begins
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver NATCEP instruction in classroom, lab, and clinical settings
• Plan, implement, and evaluate NATCEP curriculum to PDE-approved standards
• Conduct and document student competency evaluations
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready student records including attendance and evaluations
• Coordinate with PDE monitoring, audits, and compliance activities
• Support recruitment, retention, and program promotion with leadership
