TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a qualified MS/TELE General Surgery Nurse for nights in Tuscaloosa, AL. This in-office position involves floating to other units as needed, providing exceptional postoperative care in a nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate degree in nursing and state licensure. Experience of 2 years is required, although 18 months with significant experience may be considered.

Position Title

MS/TELE General Surgery 5S - NIGHTS

Location

In-Office | Tuscaloosa, AL, United States

Position Description

Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays as required. Every other weekend.

Our General Surgical Unit is a 32‑bed unit specializing in exceptional postoperative care for our general surgical patients. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and are trained in all aspects of postoperative care, including pain management, mobility, and bedside procedures. In this area, we especially value a comfortable and healing environment for each individual patient and their unique needs. This team will closely collaborate with local family practice physicians, hospitalists, as well as our surgeons.

Education (Required)

• Associate degree in nursing

Certifications (Required)

• AHA BLS
• REDCROSS

Licenses (Required)

• Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted)
• NURSYS

Experience (Required)

• 2 years’ experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.
