Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an RN for Med Surg Telemetry in Tuscaloosa, AL. This in-office, 13-week contract runs nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and holidays as required. Nurses may float to other units and hospitals, with 1:5 or 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios.

Requirements include an associate degree in nursing, Alabama or Compact RN license, and BLS (AHA) certification. ACLS preferred; Red Cross acceptable.

Qualifications

• Associated degree in nursing required.
• AHA BLS required; Red Cross acceptable.
• RN license Alabama or Compact; NURSYS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in MS Telemetry units as a clinical RN.
• Float to other units/hospitals as needed for staffing.
• Work on night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with 36 weekly hours.
• Ensure patient safety and documentation per unit standards.

The Opportunity

MS/TELE Acute Care

Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals.

HOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.

Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.

Nurses will be working in the below units. Nurses have a 1:5 or 1:6 ratio.

Education - Required

• Associated degree in nursing

Certifications – Required

• AHA BLS
• OR RED CROSS

Certifications – Preferred

• ACLS

Licenses – Required

• Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted)
• NURSYS

Experience - Required:

• 2 years' experience overall in specialty ; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.
