Description:This position requires a virtual interview for all candidates.The Nursing Director will contact candidates within 24-48 hours of receiving their profiles to schedule the interview.Candidates may be accepted for 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, nights (7 PM - 7 AM).Patient ratios are 1:6-1:7.Every other weekend will be required.Floating within scope to meet facility needs is expected.Candidates must have 2 years of travel experience.First-time travelers are not accepted.Candidates must possess their licenses before the start date.Completion of all assigned training modules prior to the start date is mandatory.Attendance at staff meetings is required.Candidates are encouraged to request block scheduling approvals prior to assignment, though it is not guaranteed.Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered at a reduced rate.All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and approved based on facility needs.Regarding call-out policies, after two call-outs without documented medical reasons, contracts may be subject to cancellation.The facility is a short-term acute care hospital with a staffing capacity of 97 beds.Candidates should be aware that all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
