Description:Seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts.The position requires a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.First-time travelers accepted as long as experience requirements are met.The nurse is expected to work a minimum of 6-8 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period.Weekend shifts include Saturday and Sunday days and Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights.Candidates will need to float based on unit needs.Total staffed beds in the unit are 16.Charting will be performed using an electronic health record system.The nurse-to-patient ratio may flex based on staffing and unit needs.Candidates must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios.The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration and provides care for adults with various diagnoses.This role involves accessing and managing ports, administering blood products, and caring for central lines.Candidates will also manage chest tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, and epidural analgesia.Other responsibilities include using rapid response/code teams and performing wound care.The position requires thorough knowledge of telemetry monitoring and patient care protocols.Candidates are expected to have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
