Cynet Health is seeking an RN – Medical Surgical for an 8-week contract in Georgia. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, a GA or Compact license, and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Epic experience is required for this travel assignment with a 12-hour night shift. The unit cares for a geriatric population, with about 6–26 census; responsibilities include floating as needed, managing dysrhythmias, feeding tubes, and isolation precautions, with onboarding completion and major holiday

Description:General medical surgical unit that takes care of a mostly geriatric population.Patient diagnoses vary from day to day.Expected patient ratio is 6 patients per nurse.Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required as needed.Every other weekend work is necessary.Compliant candidates must complete onboarding requirements on time.If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both.If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work at least two.Daily census in the unit is approximately 26 patients.Interdisciplinary support is available from various services.Travel experience is required.Candidates are expected to have skills in managing feeding tubes, interpreting dysrhythmias, and administering oxygen.Knowledge of isolation precautions and telemetry management is also necessary.
