Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a registered nurse specialized in medical-surgical care for a 13-week contract in Maryland. The night shift consists of three 12-hour shifts per week with patient ratios of 5–6 in a 30-bed unit serving adults and geriatrics.

The RN will float to similar units as needed, manage IV care and wound care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold standards. Electronic charting experience is required; BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.

Description:This position requires a registered nurse specializing in medical surgical nursing.The nurse will work 3 shifts of 12 hours each night.The average daily census in the unit is 28 patients.The unit has a total of 30 beds.Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.The nurse will provide care in accordance with established protocols and standards.Floating to similar units is expected as needed.A minimum experience handling 5-6 patient ratios is preferred.Prior experience using the electronic charting system is required.Certifications in BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS are mandatory.The role includes responsibilities such as management of IVs and wound care.The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.Weekend coverage and holiday shifts may be required as scheduled.Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
