Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week acute care float assignment. The role requires a valid RN or Compact license and BLS/NIHSS certifications.

You will work the night shift (3x12-hour schedule) with telemetry experience and strong teamwork in a high-volume setting. Candidates should possess at least 2 years of acute care nursing experience, including telemetry and med-surg knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in acute care or telemetry.
• Valid RN license or Compact RN license required.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Telemetry/telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Night shift with 3x12-hour schedule; adherence to shift hours is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to diverse populations (adolescents to geriatrics).
• Monitor patients using telemetry and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document accurately and communicate with healthcare team and families.

Description:The position requires a Registered Nurse in an acute care float role.The shift is nights, 3x12-hour schedule.The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6.First-time travelers are accepted with good experience and knowledge.Weekend requirements will be discussed during the interview.This role is open to accommodating block schedules when allowed.Candidates must possess experience in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing.Special procedures and equipment knowledge is advantageous.The patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.Common diagnoses include pneumonia, UTI, sepsis, cellulitis, flu, COVID, and osteomyelitis.Candidates should be competent in managing various nursing skills and procedures.Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working within the interdisciplinary team.The daily census is approximately 18 patients with 24 available beds.No local travelers are accepted beyond a specified radius.This role requires individuals who meet the necessary qualifications and competencies for high-quality patient care.
