Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit in Virginia. The role requires ICU/CCU experience, a current Virginia RN license, and certifications in ACLS and BLS. The position is a 13-week contract with night shifts and 12-hour hours per shift.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of nursing experience in high-acuity settings and be able to float as needed. EHR experience is advantageous and NIH/HWC are offered on-site.

Qualifications

• Must have ICU/CCU experience.
• Current RN license in Virginia.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, HWC certifications (offered on-site).
• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Ability to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient health status in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide care for patients with complex medical conditions including respiratory events and post-cardiac scenarios.
• Maintain accurate documentation and use electronic health records.
