Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Med-Surg RN for night shifts on a 13-week assignment in Chanute, KS. The role requires a Multistate license and BLS, with at least 1 year in Medical‑Surgical care. Shifts run 7 PM–7 AM; 36 hours weekly, with every-other weekend and holiday rotations.

RN may infrequently care for pediatric patients and will float within scope as needed. Orientation is typically 1–2 days, and Cerner charting is used for Patient records.

Qualifications

• RN with multistate license (MSL) required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg RN experience.
• Night shift; 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week.
• Pediatric patients may be cared for on Med-Surg floor occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on Medical-Surgical floor.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Assist with infusions as required.
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations.
• Orientation typically 1–2 days.

RN needed for night shifts.Shift hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM.36 hours guaranteed per week.Every other weekend rotation is required.Holiday rotation will be done with other staff.Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs.Potentially open to accommodating block scheduling.Ratios are 4:1 or 5:1.The Med-Surg nurse may need to perform infusions as required.Pediatric patients may be cared for on the Med-Surg floor, albeit rarely.Commonly transferred patients include those with croup or RSV.Orientation is typically 1-2 days.
