Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit on a 13-week assignment. The role requires 2 years of MS experience, a State or Compact RN license, and a 3x12 day shift pattern with 12-hour shifts.

ACLS and BLS certifications are required, along with Epic charting experience, rhythm interpretation, isolation precautions, and cardiac drip management. Travel experience and 1:6 patient ratios are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Travel experience preferred; patient ratios of 1:6 experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting and dysrhythmia interpretation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric MS/Telemetry patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and maintain cardiac drips (no titration).
• Adhere to isolation precautions and patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (PT, resp, radiology, pharmacy).
• Document accurately in Epic and care plans.

Description:We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit.The shift pattern is 3x12 days.Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience, with travel experience preferred.Certifications required include ACLS and BLS.The patient ratio is 1:6.Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is necessary.Specific skills needed include interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, management of cardiac drips (no titration), and management of dysrhythmias.Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry is essential.The unit serves adult and geriatric populations.Daily census for the unit averages around 30 patients.Interdisciplinary support is available from physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy.Special procedures or equipment are not required in this unit.
