Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Mother-Baby unit in Charleston, WV. The 13-week assignment focuses on postpartum care, antepartum support, and newborn observation, with day shifts and 12-hour hours. Candidates should have 2 years of RN experience, plus 1 year in the specialty, and WV or Compact RN licensure.

BLS is required; NRP/CLC preferred. You'll float within scope to meet unit needs, support breastfeeding education, and work within an interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience required; 1 year of specialty experience required.
• WV or Compact RN License required
• BLS required; NRP preferred; CLC preferred
• Must-Have: First-timers not accepted; Every other weekend required

Responsibilities

• Care for postpartum mothers, stable antepartum patients, and well or mildly ill newborns.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required.
• Provide breastfeeding education and discharge teaching to families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team across Mother-Baby unit and newborn nursery.
