Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Level I to provide bedside nursing in our inpatient setting. You will apply the nursing process, exercise independent judgment, and deliver care with accountability for shifts.

The role requires current RN license, BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of RN experience; BSN preferred. This position emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with an interprofessional team, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by the state where services are provided.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify patient plan of care based on data and needs.
• Use Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to guide patient care.
• Delegate according to scope of practice.
